my story

LET’S OPEN A VIRTUAL BOTTLE OF WINE AND GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER.

I’m Laura Jane;  a sunset chaser, energy worker, passion writer, and freedom believer. I have been on a long journey of self-reflection centered around rotating my perspective, pursuing my soul purpose, and creating a present reality I always dreamed of.

I’m here to inspire you to think about your life at a more universal level, find your most positive motion, and empower you to invest in your own daydreams. If I can manifest my visions, you can too. #ifyoudreamitbelieveit

I also just touched down on my 37th country around-the-world and love sharing travel stories & city guides with all my fellow wanderlusts.

I’m a California girl with a big love for New York City and a never ending craving to explore every corner of our world. Want to jet set somewhere? I’m your gal. I’m always pondering the unanswered questions life poses, often caught in a daydream trance, and seek pure freedom from limiting beliefs. I’m an open-book communicator & can be overly passionate at times, but I’m working on taming it down a bit.

I spent my entire 20s selling advertising and technology which is a career I was lucky enough to begin in college. Although I went to school to become a writer, once I felt that “high” from my first commission check I pushed my passions to the side to chase the infinite dollar signs. My sales career consumed my entire reality, and I am grateful. Grateful for the knowledge, experiences, growth, friendships, and of course the paychecks. I also met my husband through this network of incredible people (big bonu$)!

Pivot time? A series of unfortunate events woke something up inside of me. I realized I wasn’t living my life with authentic intention, I wasn’t being honest with myself, and I just wasn’t fulfilled. It felt impossible for me to be happy in the moment because I was always chasing that next-best-thing, or what I know as the “infinite moving target of happiness”. I was losing my mental strength and knew I had to make a big change.

I decided it was time to reinvest in myself and reconnect with what truly makes me happy and fulfilled. It has been a long crazy journey of self-reflection around the world centered around rotating my perspective, pursuing my passions, and creating a present reality I always dreamed of.  You can read more about my story and inspiration in my first journal entry. Can’t wait to share my newfound perspectives with you!
